Icon5 Which should be my next purchase...?

So I am down to one of these two watches (as of now) as my next watch purchase. Which do you prefer? Bear in mind my current collection is an SS Sub Date, SS White Dial Daytona, AP ROO Black Dial, and a Brietling Crosswind Special.

Panerai 233

Or….

Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time

I have owned a 233 and am NOT impressed with the VC
Overpriced for the movement. I was looking at a VC and
the more I looked into it the more let down with it I was.
You are paying for the case and the VC name
(same with the AP version but the AP has more of a demand
if you go to sell someday)
If you really want the dual time get the AP RO Dual Time.
If you want a VC Id look at others.
I owned a 233, it was a NIGHTMARE! Was in Panerai Service center for
almost 6 mths.... NEVER AGAIN!

Sorry.... Wish I had a better suggestion.....

Hmmmm… that’s a great call on the AP DT, as a self prescribed “AP Guy”, why didn’t I consider that…? I love the PAM 233 and most people have good things to say about it, however it is good (or unfortunate) to hear some negative about it, makes you think some more…

between the two, I would go with the VC.

I'm biased maybe because I have my eyes on a VC overseas automatic.
The resale value would probably be the same between these two models.

Now one thing I do agree about is the bracelet on the VC that is a GREAT bracelet.

yes a great bracelet and very comfortable. One thing I was not too keen was the "clasp". it was a hassle for me....

Wow, I would've thought more of you guys would say PAM. And yes, I do agree, the VC bracelet is arguably one of the nicest SS bracelets on the market.

I would go for the VC, despite being a PAM fan.

Why's that? Not a fan of the 233?
