36mm. Time tested classic. It just looks right, all the proportions are in harmony. I went with pt.

The big one, not my cup of tea. Doesn't seem to be in proportion. I think the giant watch/tuna-can on your wrist thing is a fad and won't be in vogue down the rode. More power to ya if you like it.

Easy call for me....

I've had the new DD2 on my wrist and something just looked wrong about it.
Also I don't believe that your dress watch...

should be bigger than your sports watch.

Just one of those unnatural cats and dogs living together kind of things.
As for Yellow or Rose or White or Plat; they all rock.

Best,
Mike

DD II and DJ II Finally not too small! My sports watch is the DSSD so it's bigger than the Dress watch

DD/DJ 36mm is the same size watch as any 40mm sport rolex. At least the part you look at to tell time. So the beauty of the 36mm is the extremely elegant proportion.

I can't understand why one would more 'mass' for something that is supposed to be 'elegant' (a dress watch)

But than again, each to his own

I am conservative (or perhaps traditional) here, and also have fairly skinny wrists, so I prefer the 36 mm DD, especially on oyster bracelet and smooth bezel. Those are great!

THE Day Date is 36mm and always will be.

The new DDII is a different watch and should not be compared to the classic DD.

I am sure others will differ, but the DDII and YMII are bad bad things that need to go away.

I've actually had the opportunity to try on the 41 mm and it looked absolutely terrific on my wrist. If I could afford it, I'd have it......in YELLOW gold!!

I like 36 mm.

I would go for the 41mm but at 5'8" and 150 pounds, it would just be too big for me. I think also I could get away with a bigger sports watch, but to have that big of a gold watch on the wrist would look a little silly.
