Rolex Red 1680 Sub- Seems too good to be true
Seems too good to be true. On the other hand, the eBay feedback is 100% positive. Very intriguing...

Very difficulty to tell. On laptop at moment so not got the screen size available to get up the pics alongside others of confirmed watches to compare.
I've seen franken builds that look as good and even better than that and genuine watches that look a lot rougher or maybe have had a not so good redial. You'd want to inspect it and see movement shots for sure. Seller seems legit. |

It look good to me from what I can see. The obvious chips off the dial would account for the price IMO.
Those guys have been around a while. |

A couple of this seller's auctions were discussed recently on the forum:

Not too good to be true.
I think overpriced considering the condition of the dial and case .... For a little more you can get a nice feet first red sub. Note case engravings are 'enhanced' poorly. Compare the 'R's. |

The "submariner" it too red and raised more than the the other script. Shouldn't the red turn pink with age?
I think it is the real deal but enhanced. |

dial looks good, direct lighting could be effecting the brightness, be aware of red "redials". overall watch looks good from what I can see.

I think overall caution is to be advised. Looks good but you can make a DIY build or franken watch look equally good. Without papers or history you'd want to get it confirmed that it left the Rolex factory as a red sub.....or buy it cheap in the knowledge that it may have not.
