Question.
In regards to the fake-Rolex's and the cost/time that it takes to make a real Rolex, and the years that people have been making fake-Rolex's... would it be fair to say, that they're might be a possibility that the Fake-Rolex's might become Superior to the Real-Rolex's?

Nothing's impossible, they say.
It is also possible that if all the people in China jumped at the same time then all the hands of all the fake Rolex watches in the world will fall off simultaneously. I mean those which haven't already fallen off beforehand due to the owner coughing or farting too loudly.

I remember reading boards in the late 90s that this watchmaker had 2 watches on his workbench. a Genuine and Fake. He mentioned the fake was actually made better than the genuine. I think both the genuine and fake were both water damaged or filled with water. it was like 10 years ago I read, so sky is the limit.

I also ask this question, because I remember reading what I think someone wrote on a toys-forum that a certain fake-toys were better than the real-ones. This has probably been true in other things in life.

If someone decides to spend the time, effort, and skill to produce a high end watch I would think they would be better off creating an entirely new line with their own name. Profit is always a motive. I'd guess their profit would be much greater with their own line.

You do have a point though.
But the Rolex brand has a lot of reputation, good reputation. "Schmolex" what the hell is that? And making a watch better than another company's watch, using its name, same design, same everything, sure is... don't know the word..... but it sure is funny. |
