the LV is still in production as the 116610LV and now in ceramic..
Several Dealers have reported that they had a hard time ordering the 16610LN, but Rolex would send them as many 16610LV's as they wanted... If true, this means that the 16610LV will likely still be found new on shelves for at least another couple of years........

The new ceramics have been "released", but they have not been shipped and will not likely be fully in the marketing stream for at least 6 months............Rolex is still shipping the 16610 with no apparent restriction on ordering the LV. We can all guess that they have stopped production of the 16610LN and LV.....but not warehousing and shipping........ still, we were all surprised when the 16710 kept showing up at dealers brand new for almost 2 years after being discontinued...and our socks were really knocked off when V serial SD's were in the marketplace...... We have seen the new serial number system on 16610's, but only on black, and none reported on the green... this tells us something, but we're not sure what yet.. Until the new ceramics show up............ I wouldn't say anything positively except that Rolex will surely stop production (actual manufacture) soon - or perhaps they already have..... but they will continue to be in the market stream for another year or 2

Thanks, that all makes a lot of sense! Having just bought an LV, I would like to think that as a "v" serial it will be the last serial number produced. I did look for an LV with new serial number and could not find one so from that I am drawing the same conclusion as yourself. |

You can still find the classic SD in most AD's, I bet you will be able to get the 16610LV for at least another year to year 1/2.

AD's are still able to order the 16610LV, at least for a while. I don't imagine that will last for too long.

It's true.
We can't just say LV anymore as it's not specific enough. The 16610LV stopped production several months ago by all accounts but will still be available through the distribution network for a while to come, as per the SD 16600.

There's no way of telling how many more deliveries ADs will get, it'll be for as long as Rolex HQ has stock
