Service needed?
My 16610 was bought new in 3/06, it's a D. Wasn't sure of the year at first but the clasp is marked MA11 which apparently means 11/05. Accuracy was better but is now +5 /day. That doesn't really bother me but I was wondering how often one should get service. I've heard so many things...

This is what Rolex says about it....
...But, everybody has an opinion............. If you don't like the +5 time-keeping, you can have any watchmaker regulate it for a nominal fee..

+5 sec. is totally normal and within COSC specs. IMO, you were very fortunate to better that performance for the last several years.
Enjoy your 16610! |
