Really? Serti Sub?

I stopped in an AD here in Alpharetta, GA, can't remember the name in North Point Mall. Anyway, salesman says the TT Sub with Slate Serti dial is no longer, only a TT with diamonds and blue face. Is this true? Anyone want to trade a TT Sub Serti Slate for a YM SS/Plat?

Sadly, Rolex chose to discontinue all of the good looking TT Blue Subs! I am not a fan of the new blue.

Wife & I finally had a chance to check out the new Ceramic TT Blue Sub a month or so back. I made sure to wear my Z series Bluesy so I could compare the two side by side. Glad I bought mine when I did, Rolex made an exceptionally bad call changing the blues.

I agree with you. Tried one on with the "regular" dial and one with the diamond dial and it's something about the color of the bezel. The bezel looks "fake" if that makes sense, just not appealing.

Beautiful looking Sub. Got to examine Ed's last week and it's a looker.

Jack at the Philly GTG had a Sub Serti that looked brand new, being he said he rarely wore it. Nice watch.

So far, I've only seen the new TT ceramic Subs in blue and black dials, with and without diamonds (ditto for the full gold) so yes, it looks like the serti dials are no more, at least not for now.

Yeah, but not the slate and not with the other gems, only diamonds. They had one with just diamonds.

Just read a thread( on TRF) about a new TT sub with black serti dial; so guess it isn't true!!
Don't know about the serti slate, though...

Would that make my Sub one of the last produced with the slate Serti face? It is an M453 Serial and has the RBR. Would this in any way increase the value or just make it an interesting foot note?
