Advice On Sending A Rolex Watch?
Hey Everyone,
So recently I made a sale of one of my older Rolex Watches, but the buyer is located in the United Arab Emirates. The buyer seems legitimate, but I can't seem to find a shipping company that will insure my watch. I definitely do not want to risk losing my watch and not having insurance. I want to be able to insure my watch for at least $2600.00, but most companies do not offer insurance, instead they offer a "carriage value" but I'm not sure what that is. Anyway, if anyone has any experience with shipping watches to the United Arab Emirates, please let me know! Or if anyone knows any individual insurance company that can supply insurance, please let me know! Thank you! |

Buy third party insurance for the shipping part that it is not covered by the shipping company.

UPS says that it is insured, but if you read the fine print.....jewelery and watches are only insured to $500. The only way to send something is USPS registered mail with Insurance, or send it however you want with 3rd party insurance as was already suggested.

Correct Jason and they don't tell you that till you have a problem yet they take your money for shipping and insurance if you don't ask - heard some horror stories on that one.

Thanks for the input guys!
What are some third party insurance companies that you recommend? I can't seem to find any. :( |
