Don't Give Up The Ship!
As promised, here is the "new" Sea Dweller.
I hand carved the eagle when I was in the metal neck brace for a year and a half and it hangs proudly in my house today. The bell and clock were from the boat. I also carved the half hull for my daughter, as she is named for the boat. The message is as true today as it was 200 years ago.

The carvings are excellent and the memories they invoke will stay with you forever. Great job.

Nice carving Nat. Congratulations on the Sea Dweller. It is very appropriate for someone who loves the sea.

Fantastic! Looks like the SD has found a nice home.
I'm always impressed by wood carvings. Especially since I couldn't even carve a cube out of a rectangular piece of wood. Takes so much care and attention to detail. |

Thanks for all the nice comments!
Working on that while trapped in the house for months was true therapy - and the motto was a constant reminder that the entire episode was temporary - or would be if I had any say in the matter!!!
