There is a great article titled... "Inside Rolex Bienne" in the issue. It's about the making of the Daytona Caliber 4130. GREAT article!!!

That sounds like a great article on the 4130, any special points of interest you might be able to share......?

They basically show how incredible advanced and automated the Rolex factory is and the ridiculously detailed standards Rolex has (2 microns). Also, they have a robot that puts booties on your shoes (no joke!)

The article has some fascinating info on the parachrom spring fabrication - from the alloy process through the bending of the wire. Of course it stops short of giving away anything too proprietary, but it's still really interesting stuff. Like Mfer said above, some of the automation described is as cutting edge as it gets.

My AD actually gave me thier spare copy of the mag. Spent yesterday afternoo n going through it. It was a very good article about Rolex exclusivity. There is also an intriging article about the factory in Bienne, where the movements are made. This is a great magazine.

Unsure if this pub does UK subscriptions...but if they do, it won't be cheap.

I am in the US...I used to subscribe to Mojo, an awesome British music magazine. I think it cost $150 a year.

If any of you guys could "scan" the magazine and post the pages which have some information about the new Submariner, i would be really thankfull!

By the way if you know a place where the magazine is already posted, please let me know.

Thank you so much!
