Tudor Chrono strap question

I just change the bracelet to my 79260P with the original strap.
It took a lot of time and heartbeat not to leave any scratches on the watch.

Now i am not sure where the part with the deployant goes. At the 6 or the 12 o'clock?

I have seen pics of both ways.

Dan in this thread (http://************/showthread.php?t=12...ht=tudor+strap ) has it on the the 12 and in this thread (http://************/showthread.php?t=12...ht=tudor+strap) the original red strap is on the 6 (edit:wrong is also at 12).

In these pics ( http://www.europeanwatch.com/13318.htm#_self ) is on the 6.

Mark (2th DR) where do you have yours ?

My idea is that it centers better when i put it in the 6 oclock and when you turn your wrist, you see the Tudor shield as it normaly is and not upside down .

Any thoughts from owners??

Panos,
I think it's up to the wearer, which ever centers the clasp for you. I've seen it used both ways.

Dan, you have any idea the models, that are out of the factory originally with the strap, where they have it?

Panos, mine came like Tim's when I bought it [preloved, but LNIB] at the WWT show. The clasp wasn't centered for me so I reversed it. Plus, I thought the strap end was supposed to wrap around toward the 12:00 side.
Anyway, your mileage may vary.
The best part about the set up is the integrated end pieces and deployant clasp add a nice finish to the design.

Panos,
Hoping to pickup my 79270 next week from my watchmaker [hint: it's gonna have a whole new look] and will give both directions a try.

As Dan said, whatever is more comfortable for the wearer! Here's one right from the AD with the deployment attached to the 6:00 end and the open strap at 12:00. I beleive this is the way they come from the factory:

Thanks, Mark !

I left it that way too.
It centers perfectly and is also very comfortable.
