I just bought a Zenith!
Finally, after a long search, I managed to find this Zenith that I wanted!
I bought it used, in pristine condition, comes with all sorts of boxes and papers... I couldn't be happier - specially knowing that I only spent "that much" for the watch I wanted... The Zenith El Primero T-Open with black dial... I know there are many versions of these, but this one strikes me most.. It's very simple yet it has the open heart beating, gives it a sleek but complicated masterpiece look... I wish it had date feature on it ( I know they have the grande date version, but I don't really like it, since the date is a large cutout on the top right... and then there's another cutout of the power reserve... I just feel that there's too many empty holes around ). But no matter... I can always check dates on my mobile phone! Heehehehe.. The croco strap that came with it was a bit dull, so I purchased a black IWC croco strap and it fitted perfectly... I personally liked the IWC croco strap much better as it's softer and thinner, and it wraps around your wrists much better.. But that's just a matter of opinion... I DO like the new grande date with sun/moon, but... I think the price is a bit steep here, so I'd rather take this one at almost 1/3rd the price of the sun/moon grande date... :D |

Fantastic watch.
Every Rolex WIS should own a Zenith along with a SpeedyPro. My current Zenith, a 44mm Grand Class E.P, on my wrist as I type.
