Date stamps inside of case backs

Now here's a question for TRF, I was under the impression that all case backs where stamped inside by Rolex with both the quarter and year that they were produced.

So is that the case, or are there case backs out ther that have no date markings?

Also what about service replacement backs, do they carry a separate code a bit like bracelets and crystals?

The production date codes on Rolex watches were discontinued inside the casebacks many years ago.

Interestingly any replacement caseback from Rolex USA will carry a 1680 stamp as there are no more 5513/12 casebacks in the system here.
