Your opinion, which looks best on me SDDS or SubC

Hi All

I've had my new SubC for a week or so now. Great watch with some really nice features. However, it's taking some getting used to after my SDDS. Looking at it straight on it looks great but from the side I feel it's too thin and small looking on my 7.5" wrist. I know this is subjective and I certainly spent several weeks thinking the Deepsea was way too big!

I've posted pics of both on my wrist, which do you prefer?!

BTW the SubC is running at +1 sec per 24H, the SDDS is constant at -4

Thanks

J

Ok as to which looks better; neither as they both look cool. If you ever needed to just keep one it would be the Sub C, and the obvious follow-up is DSSD if you had another more "versitile" watch as I don't think the DSSD looks cool in all situations and clothing choices.

They both look good on you; but if I had the option to buy just ONE of them, then I'd opt for the Sub-C!!.

The only thing about the DSSD that puts me off is the 18 mm thickness!!

Subc. Dial letters and taper of the bracelet on the dssd are deal breakers for me.

I think the DSSD look really cool on you, even if I wont be buying it.
For some strange reason, if I was to buy the DSSD, then I feel as if I have to have tried scuba-diving once at least, or get a boat or something. I know it's silly, but just have the feeling as if i can't justify wearing it..
The SubC looks of course very nice as well.

Wasn't there a person a while back all giddy over his DSSD on a 6.5" wrist and the gentleman in question admitted to not even being able to swim?! Whatever floats your boat, of course, but that is not how I roll...

After taking my DSSD off I always feel the same way.....ride it. Leave the subC on and forget about the comparison...it will feel right in time.

I think both look great on you....

Sub for me. Looks good on you.

However, I think the DS is just too big - period.

The first time i saw one in the wild - the watch just looked plain ridiculous on the wearer. It defo makes a statement. Maybe just cos I prefer something that slips under the radar - not an attention seaker.

Hey Norway, I do agree with you, to an extent. But how about this, my Audi will do 0-60 in about 5 sec and over 150mph with five people on board and a boot full of luggage! I love the fact that it can but do I ever do it, in a word no!!

Good point!! SubC looks better IMHO. DSSD is just too thick.

Without a doubt. It is classy, great-looking, and wearable in any situation, unlike IMO, the DSSD. I find that anytime I switch from a larger heavier watch to a smaller one - it feels really odd for a week or so. Then, the reverse it true. I like the Deepsea a lot but find the new sub much more practical and enjoyable for my money.

Both are great watches and are different in many ways. For me, the Sub has my vote. I don't think I can get away with the DS due to its size. It looks like its wearing me!

If you can, keep them both. The subc would look good under the sleeve of a tux and the dssd with a polo shirt. Mate best of both worlds, only wish my wrists were the same dimension as my ankles!!
