Super Heavyweight Division, guys !!

Hi fellas,

Yesterday, I walked into Mansor's and picked up my BNIB OMEGA Seamaster PLANET OCEAN with the gorgeous ORANGE bezel and a whopping 45.5 mm size. Here's a link just to give you an idea. Click on the watch on the right (orange bezel) so you know what I'm talking about.

http://www.bankslyon.co.uk/omega_watches.php

If you think the SD is heavy and thick, you have to see this mother. Boy, is he BIG, BIG, BIG. Not for the faint-hearted. LOL!!

Now the SD has some serious competition and poor TT Blue Subby is cringing in fear for what's going to happen to his beloved Lady YM!! LOL! LOL!

Cheers - JJ

The Rolex bug will never die in me, Daren. And remember....2007 is still a long way off. I mean, after all, it could be Jan. 07 or even Dec. 07. LOL!

I'm curious JJ but, why OMEGA Seamaster PLANET OCEAN? Is it more robust, can't go as deep, bigger (more steroids lol), or the orange bezel that caught your eye?

That certainly is a monster JJ. Did you get the orange bezel to go with your eyes?

LOL! My eyes are brown and the bezel is orange. Yes, it was the orange bezel that really caught my eye.

The overall get up of the watch is truly superb. Mansor's gave me such a good deal that it was just too good to pass up. He gave me like 40% off the list price and a final, out-the-door price of around US$2400 (£1300).

I consider myself very lucky to be one of the first persons in the world to own this watch. Considering that I live in a tiny country like NZ that ain't too bad when places like UK and the USA haven't even seen this piece yet!!

I've gone in for the bigger one (45.5 mm) and, after a day's wear, am slowly getting used to its massive size and weight.

Great looking watch, guys. Remember, the pics don't do it any justice at all. You have to see it for real.

Cheers - JJ

Glad to see that you are still in the world of Omega. You know how I feel about my Seamaster. What a great great watch. What led you to this purchase?

Well, Art, I fell in love with the pic the very first time someone posted it on TURF.

Then when I saw it for real, it just grabbed me. The size, the heft, the overall finish and, most importantly, that gorgeous ORANGE bezel drove me wild with desire.....

So, as they say, the rest is history......just struck up a good deal with my favourite watch store (won't say favourite store, because the NIKE one is still on the very TOP of my list...LOL), and picked it up on Friday.

Seems like this watch has not yet been even sighted in the UK and USA. I'm the very first forum member to have acquired it and that makes me feel very proud.

Cheers - JJ

Actually, Daren, I quite like the Leopard Daytona. However, I'd have to meet up with 2 requirements...

Firstly, I'd have to win the Powerball Lotto.
Secondly, I'd get rid of the Leopard strap, replace that with the original YG bracelet and change the dial. Guess, we'd then have a cracker of a watch.
