submariner or yachtmaster???
hello im new to the site and this is my first post anyway ill get to the point i currently have around £6700 to spend and im looking at either the new 2010 model submariner bi-METAL with the blue face and blue ceramic bezel or the bi-METAL yachmaster with white face gold bezal im stuck on what to choose, i do favour the submariner only thing holding me back is that i already own a ss submariner with black face allthough i relise the blue bi-metal sub does look very differant ,,,, your opinions please thanks.

You must not be looking at a new YM. Although you already have a SM, I would personally recommend the YM just because there really isn't as many people with them. It's more unique.

Welcome Harry. I've never been too much of a YM fan, so I'm a bit biased. The TT bluesy sub, however, is one of the few TT Rolexes I really like. Something about the way the blue and gold work together... just looks good.
Whatever you decide, enjoy and wear it in good health! |

Welcome to TRF!
I'm not a fan of the TTs, but if it were between the SS versions, I would choose the Sub in a heartbeat!

If you ask me, the blue 116613 is the more complete watch - if anything, it's just for the brilliant Glidelock clasp

After looking at both of those models, the ceramic sub is the best looking. The ceramic is a deep blue, and had me drooling. There was one with a diamond dial, and I would pass on that one.
The platinum YM looked crisp, and bright, but the tt YM didn't flow as much. Ceramic sub is my favorite of the two |

Hi there... welcome.
If you already have the SS Sub... I would go with the YM. I actually don't like the 2tone YM... I would prefer the SS YM. |

Welcome! You definitely consider the SS/Plat Yachty. Definitely one of the most underrated rolexes!

TT Blue Sub no doubt. If I was going to get a YM over a Sub it would be either SS/Plat or full 18K gold.

I would go with the white face yachtmaster - with both a black and white face in your collection you have a watch that will go with any outfit!

I would personally get something a bit different. If I had a Sub already I would personally go with the YM.

I would have to agree with Jackie as I am also not a YM fan so biased!

I would go with the gold and steel Yachmaster, it has the look, class, prestige. Tha platinum YM looks cheap.

The new ceramic sub black, all gold looks great. This would be my final choice if not the price.
