Deepsea to Sub-C TT in 10 days!!!
Firstly i like to say hi as this is my first post!
Well 10 days ago i bought a Deepsea Sea Dweller for my birthday after trading in my Air King 14000 which i had for 18 months. I thought yeah this Deepsea watch is awesome as it is big and looks great (I still think it is a great watch). but after 7 days of wearing it, I just couldnt live with the weight of it and that it digs into my wrist. I've now changed it to the new Submariner TT black/gold. Had to pay more but it was worth it (I hope)!! Lovin the Sub-C TT, probably paid more than most people as had to trade the Deepsea in but i hope it's worth it. Don't think i'll be changing anytime soon! haha! Anyways good informative site!! |

Thanks for the Welcome!
Hopefully these pictures look ok! Can't seem to get good pics on camera and iPhone is just awful! Ah Well! Was undecided on what colour dial to get for Sub-C TT as I was thinking of the blue, but when i saw it, the blue is really light blue compared to the brochure and the previous model. I liked the black dial more in the end and it would match my everyday clothing too! Hope i made the right choice, i'm so indecisive! haha! |

Very nice choice. That two-tone black submariner is fantastic, and is a better fit for your wrist in my opinion. Congratulations!

You did what you had do. Live with a watch that is not comfortable for you to wear daily or suck up the loss and trade it in for a watch you will wear. The deep sea seems more like a collector item to me but im sure some will disagree. It kinda sucks that you had to find out the hard way that the Deep sea is not comfortable for you but, as you now know the submariner is a terrific watch to wear everyday and for nearly every activity. I just bought a Stainless Steel Sub-c last week and love it.
