Info Request: Air King

hi folks :)

went out for a sunday stroll with the missus and decided to pop into a pre-owned shop for fun.

she tried on an Air-King for fun and was smitten with the 3,6,9 blued dialed model.

i need to do some research before i pull the trigger on this for her because unlike other models, there seems to be a dearth in info about the Air King.

When was the first and last series for this particular model or is it still in production?

The one that we saw comes with a flat single locking oyster clasp. does this match production series?

The Air-King has been in continuous production since the 1940s. I believe the clasp changed a few years ago, along with solid center links. If you can get the serial number from the seller it will tell you the approximate manufacture date.
