Rolex and friends..

So, probably Jib and Rob knows more than most of you guys, but it was discussed that I am decreasing my collection, exchanging, and re-modelling my line up.

After long considerations, several buy and sell, and trading, heres what I came up with. So ignore my signature, will change it later hehehe...

I now have 4 watches in the rolex family...

1. The yellow gold daytona on strap.

2. The zenith white gold daytona on strap.

3. The gold daydate.

4. The Tudor Heritage Chrono.

I also have 2 panerais that I cannot bear to lose, and I traded one of mine from a 352 to a 233.

1. The Panerai PAM 233.

2. The Radiomir PAM 287.

:)

I am now just waiting for a Polar ExpII, perhaps for a new release with the orange hand, if that may be true. Or maybe find a pre-loved one at a great price. :D

Leo, now that is a hard question to answer. They tend to get worn just about the same. But the two Daytonas get the most wrist time, since I work monday to friday, and those two are the best for my working attire.

Second to that would be the Panerais, but the 233 gets more wrist time than the Radiomir. However, I think that will change once my new Radiomir straps comes in in 2 weeks time. :D

Last but not least would be the Tudor Heritage and the Daydate. I only wear the daydate when I'm with sleeved shirt, dinners, etc. While the heritage is purely a casual-jeans-tshirt watch. :D

Rob: LOL - no, fortunately, she was quite understanding. I had to let go quite a few, traded a few, and I promised I would only add the Heritage, and a Polax ExpII. So I got the Heritage, but not the ExpII yet... so one more! :D

And guys, thanks for the compliments! :D

As you can see, the day-date and the radiomir is the only two survivor.

I sold all those that didn't get enough wrist time and traded the ones to complement each other to my style. :D

Thanks guys! Seems like I do have a watch for every situation. Just want one more - the polar expII, and I think I will make a nice set.

Well I have one more slot for a rolex. Which do you guys think I should add up? I've been thinking about the polar expII, but you guys have any idea as to what maybe the last piece of puzzle I should fit in there?

Very nice collection brother. I think the next watch I buy could be a Panerai. They look really sleek.

Rolexgiant: quite a lot actually, I sold my zenith, AP royal oak, ym, speedy, etc etc. I end up with some extra cash in the account.

I traded my zenith daytona for the whitegold zenith daytona. I traded the ym, Pam 312 for a 233 plus cash.. And I sold my speedy away.. Then a few more.

Wife says I have one too many watches, and I'd have to agree.. So I'm toning it down a little.. And left with these. As I said, I just want one more, preferably a white dial, either a DJII or the polar expII..

That's an awesome collection, Norman!

The Explorer II would be a worthy addition! I would try to stretch my luck with the wife and get a Pepsi-C when (if?) it comes out as well!
