Minute hand question

The minute hand on my SD is running about 10 seconds a day faster than the second hand (if that makes sense)

Anyone else experienced this?

Any solutions?

Cheers

Have you been playing with magnets? or are you in the Bermuda Triangle...?

I do not think I fully understand the question...

Pull the crown all the out when the second hand reaches the 12:00 marker, then align the minute hand exactly on the appropriate indice.

Pull out the battery for 10 minutes.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

What you probably see is the clearance in the gear meshes inside the movement. Because of this clearance, and depending on the vertical position of your watch, the minute hand may "move" a little bit, and then it seems that it is no more in phase with the seconds hand.

Of course, all hands (minutes seconds and hours) run in the long term absolutely synchronous; these are mechanical gearings, so no shifting possible.

Do not worry at all, that is quite normal!

Kind regards
Tom

Are you saying the minute hand is loose and depending on what position of the watch is in the minute hand may look out.

If I'm understanding correctly it sounds like you're describing play in the movement. Very common. Try hacking the movement and moving the minute hand to take up the play.
