Iconic Rolexes from 1970!
Does anyone in this forum knows which Rolexes from the year 1970 (February/March) are considered as "Iconic"?
Say... Submariner, Explorer or Datejust? The serial number will be greatly appreciated! |

Hi Xavier,
I don't have an answer to your question, but your tagline "Original Proponent of the "Development of a Forum for the 16610LV" is hilarious!!!!! I agree, by the way!!!!! Jake

Not exactly iconic in its day, but was released in 1971, and only lasted until 1974 with the orange hand. Its iconic now

The only reason that moves me to get some info on this particular period is that I was born on february 25th 1970, and being Rolex near and dear to my heart, I thought it would be very nice to have a Rolex, from this "precise" era.
