Question about used Rolex watch Warranty

Hi, I am a new member here, I found a lot of usefull information about rolex here, and I have a question about the warranty on an used watch. If I purchase a used watch from someone, the card is dated and named, can I still bring the watch to AD for warranty? or I have to pay? or I have to send them to somewhere else?

If possible, can someone explain how rolex warranty works? thanks, sorry if the question is noob :P

Normally the warranty is to the original owner but remember Rolex don't know what the original owner looks like.But the warranty is very seldom needed with any watch in the warranty period. And when expired Rolex will quite happily take you money for any future service.
