What age was your first rolex?
First off, I'm new to the forums and have found some excellent information here. So thank you.
I'm 23 and very interested in a Sub 16610. I am making a great salary for starting out and for where I live. I am trying to figure out if it is worth it or to wait a few years or until bonus season. Or give some strong hints come my wedding lol. I'm just ready to get rid of this darn Casio! How old were you for your first and what do you think? |

Mine was a SUB 14060M when I was 29, I'm 30 now so it was last year. My advise is first take care of the necessities. Save money(bank), 401k or IRA, 6 months emergency funds with the economy that is. If you have family, take care of them, then buy a Rolex. Your young so you have plenty of time to own a Rolex(s).

As someone who wore Omega watches for years I am a relatively newcomer to Rolex - in fact I bought both my Sub and GMT in 2010 at the grand old age of 35. I still like Omega, and am considering a Speedmaster, but I am pretty much a Rolex guy now.

23 and bought it new. It was a Datejust. Today I would suggest pre-owned (more watch for the money).
