Holes or no holes on an F Serial #

Hello,
I have a question about a Rolex. F serial number. It has holes case.
People have told me that it cant be an F serial number because 2004's didnt have holes case, But my locla AD says that Sub still can be bought with or without holes. Does anyone know if this is true?

A Submariner 14060M (non date) will have lug holes in the outer case.

Hi Henry,

Firstly, all the no-date Subs come with lug holes....no exceptions.

Secondly, I couldn't help noticing your picture. Your clasp must sit very lop-sided on your wrist with that link arrangement.

You have 5 links on the '6' side. Try transferring one link over to the '12' side and you will get a much more balanced arrangement....and a proper centralization of the clasp on your wrist when you turn it around.

Cheers - JJ

14060M has holes, the sub date early Y SN has holes, later Y SN does not.
