DateJust with white dial and gold date wheel?

Hello all,

I have been a watch collector for some time but have just recently decided to go for a DJ. I was thinking about a TT with a White dial and gold stick markers, but can you get this model with a gold date wheel?

I am thinking about putting it on a leather strap and just think it would look sharp.

Unfortunately I have never seen one. Has anyone here?

Sounds like a perfect choice. I don't think I've ever seen a gold colored date wheel. Are you talking about gold numbers or wheel? It might not be a bad look, but it may not be very noticeable. White dial with sticks on a tt DJ is a classic.

I have a date wheel with a gold tinge background. The numbers are black. The dial is black with gold stick markers. I don't know what dials and date wheels are available currently.

There are plenty of quality straps available. The only problem is that you have to buy on the internet to get any choices. Hirsch, Hadley Roma, Rios, Di-modell, and others produce nice versions. If you're looking for a dressier look, it's tough to beat black croc or alligator. If you want a more versatile look, medium to light browns, maybe with white stitching are nice choices. For a strap that is only used in an office setting, shiny finish is nice-- otherwise, a semi-matte look is more useful.

For a DJ, I prefer a strap that is at least 3mm thick at the lugs, and 4mm is a little better. 16mm or 18mm is typical at the buckle end, and either is nice. There are plenty of other looks available in the leather options. Croc can be very similar in appearance to alligator, but is significantly cheaper. Teju lizard is also a very nice look. $100 can get you a very nice strap; $200 is about all you should pay for top of the line gator; and $50 will get you all sorts of nice non-exotics.

I have all my watches that I'm wearing with straps fitted with a deployant. The biggest reason for this is to keep me from dropping the watch on a tile floor. The deployants are also easier on the strap around the buckle area.

If you buy from a Gray Dealer they can have the gold date wheel installed no matter which dial. Date wheels are relatively cheap.

Do you think that is a gold color or just patina on the date wheel?
