Just attended an event of the Shanghai boutiques and took some photos of the 3 composite members of Panerai. (Sorry for quality as blackberry is not strong on photos).

I would love to add both 375 and 386 to my current 339.

Really really love the 375 but imagine that the chance to secure one is really really slim. Just need to wait.

very noce to see these 3 together

the 339 is for sure the most interesting

* the FIRST ever composite
* inhouse 8 days movement
* 8 GIORNI sign on the dial
* Marina Militare on the dial (probably the last time ever)

than between the 1950 and the normal Luminor, I think i would choose the standard Luminor
The 1950 composite is nice but for that watch I would prefer the original 127 or even better, the new 372

I agree that 127 would be more preferred but it would be difficult and expensive to have a near new condition nowadays.

indeed but imo the 372 is even better than the 127 and the 372 is not that expensive

the 127 had exactly the same price as the 372 BUT the 372 has an inhouse movement and the 6.9K for a 127 was 10 years ago !!!

so the 127 was way to expensive back then or the 372 is too cheap today

I agree and the 372 should be much much easier to secure than the 375. However, I heard from a few of the their sales reps who keep saying that the production of 372 may not go on forever therefore better to get one earlier than later. May be this is again their sales tech.

However, I am aware that many more have put their orders for the 372 than most of the special editions. Again, this could be due to the fact that the special editions are only for a very selected group of buyers so that people put their orders on something more realistic.

If I were to chose from the three, I think I would chose the 339 first as well. I'm not much on movements and the like so the 339 looks the best to me. I dont really need a date and I think the 375 without the date looks better than the 386.

375 for me since unlikely i will get the 339 from the boutique. notice also the slightly different strap design between the 375 and 386.

I think panerai is overdoing it with the composite material. I personally dont like the colour in person.. I still prefer the dlc or ceramic material..
