UPDATE: Got my 320 back today...

Hey everyone, I had sent my new Pam to the service center in Dallas because of a faulty push button in the quick change strap system. I was a little worried to say the least because of some of the horror stories I'd heard. I had to take the plunge because it was under warranty and the only way this can be fixed is by replacing the entire case which is $$$$$. Well today I got it back and it is absolutely perfect! They replaced the case, put it through all the tests and fine tuning, and everything was covered under my warranty. Not only that, but both times I called the service center I got a very nice and helpful customer service person on the phone. It took 6 weeks which is reasonable, and in my case they actually got it to me a month earlier! Because they had to get the case shipped from Italy they had told me 10 weeks. I just wanted everyone to know so that if you ever have an issue and need to send your Pam for service you won't feel as nervous as I was. Sure my experience was as good as you can expect and I don't know if thats the norm or if having a bad experience is. All I can say is I couldn't be happier with my 320 and feel that Panerai delivered the kind of service one would EXPECT from a luxury watch line! So thank you Panerai! And thanks to all of you for helping me through this difficult situation and for all of your great advice. Good luck with all your beautiful watches and talk to you soon!! Here's a few quick shots of her after her plastic,..I mean..metal surgery!

Glad you didn't have to pay for that. I'm telling you, that strap systems scares me!

I sent it directly, but the online dealer I bought it from helped me through the whole process.

Excellent! I still feel that Panerai needs to speed up their service.
