explorer II 40mm or 42mm
Hi,
I am new to the forum. Since wearing a Submariner date ref 1680, I am suffering from an acute Rolexmania and I cannot decide myself upon my next purchase. I am tired of shopkeepers inapropriate advices about Rolex and I have been hesitating for over 2 and a half years between an explorer II 40mm or a GMT master II. I finally decided to go for the explorer II (that is personal) but the problem now is that the explorer II 42mm is due to appear very soon with some interesting improvements on the tractor side. Shall I wait for the 42 mm or buy one of the last 40mm available? What is the opinion of more experienced Rolex owners? |

I would definately wait.
That way you avoid the possibility of regret. Wait for the 42mm and then make a decision.

It shouldn't be to much longer. I'd wait and compare. If the 40 fills the bill there's plenty out there.
