Someone noticed my PAM 000

So I take my car for its detailing appointment, and notice a guy with a 16613 TT Sub. He looks at my watch while I'm looking at his, and asks if it's a Panerai.

We proceeded to have a nice little chat about our watches while waiting for our cars to be done.

If he resists tell him to join the forum. I'm sure as a group we can get him to join us on the Dark Side.

Nice! Jay, what part of NOVA are you from? I used to hang around near Tyson's Corner and Annandale all the time! I love the Korean food over there. It's delicious.

That's great!! It's nice to hear that people can share a conversation on watches even if they don't know each other. It's always been like taboo for people to bring up that topic in the wild.

Getting it washed and waxed on the outside, and vacuumed, carpets shampooed, and leather seats cleaned and treated on the inside - while I sit in the waiting area posting to TRF! I'm back home now and the car's all cleaned up and in the garage.

Do what I did yesterday - wear it with a bright orange strap and an orange t-shirt. You'll get noticed.

Nice! Besides GTG's I haven't had anyone notice my watch for the longest time. I haven't even gotten the 'Wow, that thing's big" comment in almost a year!

Zero is my hero. My Panerai are definitely more noticed than my Rolex, but not like you'd think.

Someone see's my Rolex sub and 2 questions/comments come up.
1. Is it fake
2. How rich are you

Someone see's my Panerai and 2 questions/comments come up.
1. What is it? Pan-er-eye???
2. Cool watch.
