Do you actually use your watch to tell the time
Whilst watching the the St George Brisbane game (Yes it a very NSW centric comment but very pertinent to looking at the wrist) I was faced with the question...where is my watch, i took it off to do some work..i looked down in a moment of hurry to check the time and, violá i was lost...counting the moments
i thought.."This is ripe for a post" random? maybe...poignant most definitely..the age old question reared its head..."What time is it"..bit of a flavor falv moment..Boi!!!..All that aside where was my extremely waterproof rugged time piece?...Compromised for a microwave LED read out...When push comes to shove..pardon the pun..i need to Know what time it is..especially when it comes to the finals..and what better way of keeping track than to slap the sub on and wait for the inevitable...at the end of the day an egg timer would suffice..but i cant strap that on my wrist..Ladies and gentlemen..start your calibers..we all need to know what time its is.....Oh and if you have to ask this all started over a game of rugby league..sport is sport and we all need to know what time its!....Now where is my Speedo swim clock! |

If thats a question, then yes I use my sub to tell the time. I look down and read the clock. Sometimes I have to look at it twice, because the first time I'm just admiring it.

No . . . I use the sun to tell time, the watch is just there to admire. I have no idea what the time might be after sunset.

The time is everywhere these days.
My computer has the time. I have clocks all over my apartment, two of which are just behind my computer. There a clock in my car. The GPS has a clock. Most businesses have a clock somewhere. Some have them on the street so that you can check the time (and usually the temperature) while driving. Cell phones have the time. The television and radio will tell the time, if you happen to be listening or watching when it is announced. If you have cable, the cable box has the time. One would think that a watch would be superfluous in a society where the time is ubiquitous. There is one reason above all others that make my watch indispensable. Wherever I am, all I have to do is look at my wrist and I know the correct time within a few seconds. So, while the time is everywhere and the correct time is often available, there is one place where I know that the time is correct or can be deduced quickly and easily and that is on my wrist.

Yes! And also for the date. If I'm feeling a little down, I just look at the watch for a bit and that alone can make me feel better.

This ever happen to anyone, you take a look at your watch then a couple seconds later someone sees you checking the time and asks "what time is it?". And you dont know because you werent checking at the time just looking at the watch! I'll admit, I've done it more than once. It is a Rolex after all.

I check it countless times a day for both time and date. You would think by the afternoon I can remember the date but I don't mind checking my watch again and again.
Plus the admiration looks every once an hour or so. Gotta love Rolex.

Yes I do but I wore my DSSD the other day all day and it had been dead since the day I got my Sub C. I never even noticed until I got home. It was on the weekend so I wasn't overly concerned with the time.

I think I check my time multiple times throughout the day. I check my watch for the date once or twice a day. I look at my watch for it's beauty about 240 times per day.
I'm only speaking the truth. |

Of course I use my watch to check the time! If not, I couldn't find more reason to buy other beauties!
