Upcoming trip to Vegas
Hi all,
I am taking a trip to Vegas in the next few weeks and I'm hoping to spend a good amount of time watch shopping/browsing while there. I'll be staying at the MGM. What places are "must visits" for a watch fanboy such as myself. I did a search, but didn't really find what I was looking for. Brands I namely want to see are the big boys: JLC, AP, VC, Patek and ALS as those are nearly impossible to see in the flesh in my neck of the woods (Portland, OR). Thanks in advance! |

Wynn & Company Jewelers (the one in the Wynn Esplanade that is a true jewelry store, not the one in the Encore which only carries Rolex, nor the other one in Wynn Esplanade that also sells only Rolex). They carry JLC, Patek, VC and others, but they stopped carrying AP a year ago or so.
Tesorini in Bellagio. Rolex, Patek and others. I'm looking forward to watch browsing in Vegas in late November too

Tourneau in Forum. See Jason Persaud - he is a watch ace.

That's great, thank you. Looks like Tourneau and Wynn are even AD's for a few I am looking for.
Are there any places off the strip that are worth venturing too? |

The AD inside of Wynn is awesome. Walk around The Strip, there are plenty of places to see and things to do.
Have fun! |

DO NOT buy watches in Vegas unless it's a Gshock at Tourneau. Discounts on Rolex at Wynn & Encore is a big no no.
You can score a decent price on some IWC models at the IWC boutique at the Palazzo but I had to be pretty bully and show some knowledge about calibers and references,it seemed the store manager loved the challenge. Same at Wynn Company but nothing sort of spectacular, just a regular discount you can get at any watch store as first time customer. I've managed to get and incredible 25% off on a Planet Ocean at Paradise Jewelers(they're doing BAD,insider tip, they desperately need business) inside Mandalay Place. Other than that forget about it,the mentality in Vegas is part you from your money after all. If you're not after fancy watches stop by at the Seiko Outlet Store at the Premium Outlet mall in Downtown. |

Boy it's hard NOT to watch shop in Vegas. Wynn and the forum shops are must stops.
Just don't go into Tourneau with a 1680 RED on your wrist and have the lovely salesgirl ask you if "you want to trade that old thing on a new one" |

The Wynn, the Palazzo, and Tourneau at Ceasars Forum Shop are the ones I always check out.
I could spend at least a whole day in just these three locations. It'll be a decent walk from where you'll be at, however the good thing is that these three are real close together.

Great information guys! I don't plan on buying down there *fingers crossed*. There is scarcely anything in this world I will pay MSRP for.
I do plan on trying to nail down my next purchase once I get to try a few pieces on though. |
