Website for REAL Rolex Parts???????

I was looking around for bezels and bracelets, and can't find anything that's real! Everything I turn up is oyster style this and that -- it's all fake!

Do any of you have any favorite places that sell AUTHENTIC Rolex parts?

Interesting plan. It's done all the time with machinery (Southbend Lathes come to mind), and junk yards are no longer that but vehicle recycle centers.

Most machinery can be parted out and sold for substantially more than as a whole.

I wonder....would a Rolex be worth more in pieces...

It's only a matter of time before Rolex tools are sold to be able to do just that.... part them out. A few hundred for hands, for dials, a couple grand for a movement, a grand for a case, grand for braclets and parts, couple hundred for a crown ........and on and on.

There is absolutely no law (at least in the US) against selling parts of original equipment that you have legally obtained so long as you do not try to defraud anyone.

Friend bought a Rolex some time ago, realized that the movement was not original for the case (but genuine Rolex) and sold every single part separately.
For the 5000 dollar he spent he received 4500 dollar selling every part on its own. So doable but with some loss I guess.
I've known guys stripping gold cases and selling the gold at market value can you believe it!
And then they want top prices for the movements tssss

Hey Larry I will be in Las Vegas in 10 days and plan to hit the Rolex shop at the Wynn....maybe we need to have a G2G there!

The sale of genuine Rolex parts is TIGHTLY controlled by Rolex. Posting a "want to buy" on various SCs might give some results.

You can take it to an AD, and he can obtain the parts you need by swapping the old ones in for new ones, at the cost of the new parts. Rolex will not sell any parts without receiving the old part first.

You see, that's the thing. Scroll down to my "vintage GMT" thread, and you'll understand what I'm after here. I want to see about getting a newer style TT oyster bracelet for the watch; however, I want to keep the vintage rivet bracelet. Also, a new(er) bezel insert would make the watch look 100x better.

So, somewhere that sold authentic parts would be awesome. By NO MEANS am I going to trade the stuff I have to have Rolex destory them or do whatever...

Take the old rivited bracelet off and pop out the early bezel insert. Now, take your "family heirloom" into the nearest RSC or to an AD and tell them you want to be able to wear grandpas old watch because it means so much to you.

They will get you some parts.

I was talking to a guy recently who buys diamonds and gold (and old Rolexes). He said there's a pawnbroker who buys any Rolex he obtains. The pawnbroker gets them cheap enough that they remove the bracelet and sell the watch to recover their cost. The bracelets are then sold to someone else for their profit.

He didn't know who their buyers were and they don't get a large quantity of them but enough to make it worth their while. Maybe this is how some of the authentic parts show up?

Thanks, but all that's there are hang tags, booklets, boxes, stickers, hats, pins, shirts, etc. I do appreciate the effort though!
