Hardwood patio furniture...
I got two eucalyptus loungers and two folding chairs. I am planning on getting a table also, for out next to the pool. (it was all actually free, I saved up so many points building the pool that I earned cash back and bought all the furniture)
My question is should I oil it? leave it alone? or put a spray on water sealant on it? I have the teak oil already, but it is a big messy job and I like the way the weathered furniture looks at our local Starbucks. They have very similar either teak or eucalyptus furniture and it looks great. So for those of you who have outdoor hardwood furniture....any suggestions? I am in South Louisiana and it rains a lot here. I did also buy a cypress table and stained it with Maximum Olympic deck stain in cinamon to match the eucalyptus.... The loungers are in the picture. I am picking up the wood market umbrella at night. Any help or suggestions are appreciated...the pool is saltwater. Do you leave you umbrellas out at night? How long does the furniture last if taken care of? Thanks!!
