Which Rolex To Buy My Wife?....Help!

Hey Guys,

i want to buy my wife a nice watch for xmas.

so been thinking about mid-sized Rolex.

nothing too expensive (the cheaper the better lol) so would consider a used one as long as it was mint.

she is young'ish so something that is "on trend" would be ideal.

probably stainless steel as its timeless/fashionless

she is quite petite so a mans size would deff be too big....and the ladies are very small...so mid size i reckon

i know lots of the celeb girls are wearing Daytona's but they are way too expensive for me!

any ideas and pics would be fantastico!

Cheers

Based on experience, you really should have her pick the watch out in person. Watches are SO personal....

BUT, if you can have the assurance of the seller that you can return it, and get a 100% refund, then, what the hell, surprise her. Good luck.

Oh yeah, maybe a ladies Yachtmaster....

x2!

I think a mid-size YM is a great choice - you can find them on the forum here!! My wife currently wears a ladies DJ, but will be getting the mid-YM for her birthday next year!!

I agree. Let her pick, but a nice midsized Yact master is a great watch. The midsized DJ with a nice dial wouldn't be a bad choice either. Lots of options, let her pick. Get her a gift card for the AD.

Oops, didn't realize you pulled the trigger.....best wishes.

This is what I just bought for my wife (30) as a baby gift. It's mid sized, her wrists are tiny and it looks incredible on her. She absolutely loves it.

Similar thread was just started which can be found here:

Thanks a lot!

If you want to go for a similar look and save a few bucks I'd suggest the same thing but just swapping my dial with a Silver or Rhodium.

So all together, mid sized (31mm) SS on Jubilee bracelet with the fluted bezel, and Silver or Rhodium dial. Looks amazing.

Also, my wifes wrist is about 5.5 inches if that helps - so in other words, TINY. cheers!

I agree with the others. I'm female (and I have very small wrists) and yesterday I ordered a tt mid size datejust to replace my 26mm ladies datejust which I can't read anymore. I can't wait to get the midsize - it's a very stylish alternative to the ladies size and will keep any lady going beyond the point at which her eyesight fails!

I agree with another poster. I would have her pick out a watch that she falls in love with! Is she into watches? Or are you trying to get her into them so you can buy more without her getting disappointed over every purchase lol!

If you don't want too expensive how about a 34mm 114200 or 14000 airking with silver or pink dial?

my wife is very petite but my 36mm dj looks just perfect on her. have another not very biggish female colleague wearing the same size dj. but if you worry about the size, just buy the midsize version.
if you want something more modern looking, try the arabics dial versions. for me they look a bit sportier than the roman or stick dials.

Two-tone Ym looks SICKKKK.

But I'd say 179174, can't go wrong w/ SS w/ fluted bezel.

Last month I got a ladies yachtmaster. I was worried it might be too small. The size is perfect.
