Question for new GMT owners
I read on different website that vary few new GMT’s were issued with the old paper style Rolex guarantee?
If this true, could the ones issued with paper vice the plastic card fetch a premium some time down the road? |

No, in fact I think people would prefer the plastic card certificate with the new GMT II, since as you state, the plastic card is the "norm" for this model. A paper certificate would arouse suspicion about authenticity, no matter HOW genuine the paper certificate/watch would look...
Just my thoughts

Same boat as Sterling, I was told it would be sent to me from Rolex, so I haven't seen anything yet :-)

The TT was available before the SS. Is the survey distorted since we are talking about two different models? I got paper with my TT.

From what I was told by the sales department, the first shipment or two of the SS GMT II s which went out were issued with the old style paper g`tees.
From now on all will be sold with the credit card style, as will all other models. It may take some time for the less high volume sellers which are in stock already (and have paper g`tees) to be replaced by the new credit card type. |
