I love my Datejusts...
So much so I own two of them and have considered adding a 3rd. I was wearing my Breitling today when it occured to me that the big bulky Breitling was acutally annoying my wrist. The 36mm DJ is so nice because I really don't even notice it on my wrist at times.
Attached is a photo of one of mine. Anyone else prefer the "right" size of the 36 mm Rolex Oyster? |

I have a Tudor Oysterdate from the early 1990s and it's far and away more comfortable than my Sub. The only other watch I think that is more comfortable is my Glashutte. That thing never makes a fuss.

The DJ does not get the respect it deserves on TRF. We get a bit obsessed with Sport Models sometimes. Nice Watch!!

Love my latest arrival and I find it very comfortable. I hardly notice it, but seems like everyone else does. The Datejust is the Icon in the Rolex line.

My first...still my favourite
Been to hell and back on my wrist, never let me down a single time.....absolutely love it to bits......36mm is the perfect size......dinner plate non-professional watches look cartoonish to me.....tried very hard to like them and just cannot...

I've always loved the Datejust
Very light and comfortable but I personally can't get used to the smaller size. For me anything under 40mm doesn't seem to work although I have tried a few times. Great watch for sure! Enjoy em.

Love my DJ, just changed to a creme jubilee dial with Arabic numerals from a champagne dial with Arabic numerals.

How can you tell the mfg. Date of a watch? I am new to the forum. I have a DJ from I think mid 1980's. It has the number 455 on the back were the band meets the case.
