I went to a tennis match at Staples Center in LA several years ago with a female coworker. I got the tickets from a vendor and knew she is a huge tennis fan. I've known her and her husband for years.

So we're at the match and we get put up on the kiss-cam. How embarassing can that be! People were cheering, but there was no way we were going to smooch. They finally moved on to another couple, but kept coming back to us, over, and over, and over, and each time everyone would start cheering us on.

People even heckeled us in the parking lot on the way to the car. But after telling them we were just co-workers, we did get a bit of sympathy from most.

I agree, I would guess that most of the woman who don't want to marry the guy would say yes out of embarrassment and then have a "talk" with the guy on the way home. This seemed contrived to me, I could be wrong and maybe she really is a tool, but she'd have to hate the guy to do him like that, and if she hated him then you'd think he would have picked up on it... But who knows
