Hey check out this fox!!!
No really...
This was at a local yacht club pool where my son had his 9th birthday party yesterday. It must be a kitten. Clearly not too afraid of humans which is a bad thing... We stayed clear of it and spooked it away from our event. I think it's a red fox indigenous to eastern Maryland. The party was held at Podickory yacht Club adjacent to Sandy Point State park, a huge deer habitat.

Adorable little critter... only look but cannot touch.
That's sad thing with nature and man when we are encroaching near its habitat.

That's cool. Knowing my dumbass, I'd probably have tried to take it home and turn it into a pet.

I don't know why, but foxes are becoming more common in Maryland. On the golf course they will steal the food right out of your cart.

Such a great looking animal. Here in PA fox are becoming more populated in the last couple of years. They seem to keep to themselves unlike the larger coyote. The coyote I believe presents more danger to small animals, small kids, etc

Here in Connecticut I drove by one of these furry critters every few weeks or so.
They look kind of Drove by a coyote last week. Less fond of them...

Great pics Steve. We have one of those running around our neighborhood that I see almost every morning.

Am I the only one that thought of something else when you said "fox"?
