Aristo (watch company)
My grandma found this watch of my grandfathers the other day,
I just wanted to get some opinions/ history on the watch ect. It is swiss made and says incabloc antimagnetic above the 6 o'clock. My grandpa graduated from Tennessee and was a nuclear physicist for Westinghouse. He died when I was 2 years old and I can't say I remember to much about him. The watch is currently not working and is missing a few parts. I am curious as to if it is repairable and worth looking into because it is something I would like to cherish with some of the other pieces I have accumulated through family. |

Looks fantastic! I inherited my grandfather's Lanco which still works to the day! It also says Incabloc Antimagnetic on the dial. You should get it running again! There's a great website called Vintage Watch Restoration. I'm going to send my grandfather's there soon. It needs a service also a new crystal. I've heard some good things about this VWR. The are no words to express the satisfaction of wearing your grandfather's watch, trust me! It's a great feeling.
