My wife and I spent some time tonight remembering the victims of Japan's tragedy one year ago. We're thankful that no one in her family was hurt. But our hearts ache for all of those affected.

It was a catastrophe of "biblical" proportions, as they say.
We should all take a moment to remember not only those who were taken from us, but also those who were left to suffer their losses.
