Cannot see any reason why the DSSD and even the SD was rated to a depth that man or future man will never use, unless he is superman but he was only in films and comic books.

Well afraid myself don't buy bragging rights,myself buy the watch I like to wear.I know many today just buy the brand name on a dial and bigger heavier and go deeper is always better.But thankfully I don't slot into the mine is bigger than yours boast market.

Hahahaha!!! My Rolex can withstand a nuclear blast, sure it cost extra & the case is 5 inches thick & looks like a brick on my wrist, but just in case that ever happens I am covered... I sleep better at night now...

I have a DSSD and find it funny that so many owners get so offended when anyone says anything bad about the precious Deep Sea. IMHO the guy said nothing that wasn't true and this thread isn't really about the Deep Sea. It's about some possible abomination of a watch that Rolex is going to create that wont ever be produced and if it was couldn't actually be worn. If the DSsD is as big and thick as it is I can only imagine that this thing will literally have the dimensions of a brick. Many DSSD owners are way too sensitive (I'm not pointing you out or saying you are). Just stating an observation.

Only because it's the BEST WATCH by far and anything else is inferior to such a degree that it renders the watch pointless and worthless. But that's just my opinion. Don't want to offend anyone, just saying, no offence meant.
