AP ROO in 'The Mechanic'

In the 2011 flick, 'The Mechanic', starring Jason Statham, the opening sequence features a Gold ROO Chronograph with a black strap. It's a really nice watch but a little too BLING for me. However, given that this short lived character is a Colombian Drug Lord (with good taste), it somehow suits him.

That was a fake AP... =)

This was discussed on the the Purists some time ago... the Chrono dial is all wrong on it.

Oh really? Fake?

They have enough budget to blow up cars and buildings but not for an authentic watch?

Probably a good budget call by the producers...

- of the dozen or so people who paid to see this movie, only three noticed the watch was fake.

The real ones are usually GIVEN by the watch companies for product placement.
