I know you all are hardcore with your sea dwellers, Subs and GMTs, but do any of you own a "dress" Rolex? DJ, DD or Celini?

I have GMT, SD, SS DJ and TT DJ. Those DJs are now residing with my father inlaw and my brother inlaw from order of my emperor(my wife) since I just left them in the boxes for the longest time. They have been out for about 2 years now. I am keeping both my GMT and SD for now, and I hope they both will stay with me and not being "loan out".

I own a Sub currently, and have designs on a dressier watch for my next purchase. I was thinking a TT Turn-O-Graph or maybe an Air King, one with a blue or black face perhaps. Those TOG's are nice, and would slip under a suit cuff well while maintaining most of the heft that I love so...

I have an old ss Oyster Date which goes with everything and it pretty understated, in fact most don't even notice it's a Rolex. (something I cannot claim about the LV)

I used to briefly own a DateJust, but decided that the SeaDweller actually can be worn as a dress watch.

Yes. I have a DJ with blue gradation, 10pt diamond dial. It screams R-O-L-E-X R-O-L-E-X R-O-L-E-X

when it's on my wrist! And it gets equal wrist time along with my 4 sports models too.

(Sorry for bad pic) but I assume many TRF members have dress Rolexes too.

In todays world, a Rolex sport watch is a dress watch..

In the course of a year I attend many up-scale social and honorary events. While you still see a few, the day of the skinny "dress" watch is out and the era of big watches is in.
My TT Sub is understated at many of these events..

I have a TT DJ to go with my SS Sub. I don't wear the DJ as much as I should because I have a tendency to think of it as dressy. I should have only one watch. It seems a shame to have a beautiful watch just sitting around.

My Sea-Dweller is my dress watch. I wear it to court every day (as well as everywhere else), and I can just about guarantee you it's the dressiest watch in any given courtoom.
