The watch that currently appeals to you the most (that you own or plan on owning)

What is the watch that excites you the most currently and you either own it or intend to own at some point in the future? What makes it special to you?

Pictures if possible please.

I can see why Thomas.

Besides the fact that it is a ROO, that orange ring around the dial really gives it that extra little something special in my opinion.

tie: new Jaeger LeCoultre Master Control (introduced at SIHH) , new PP Nautilus 5711 white dial, 216570 Explorer II white dial

...after 6 straight black dial watch acquisitions, these are my favorites in white or silver. Still torn between whether to get the Exp2 or JLC next. The Patek will have to wait for awhile, good thing it probably won't be available for some time.

Three great choices. I felt this way when chosing my Daytona. I figured it was about time to get a white dialed watch.

So you like the white dialed 5711 better than the blue black dial?

For the ones I haven't got yet, it would be the 5726 Nautilus white dial for a new one and the DRSD for an old one.

Of the ones I have, it would be the latest purchase, so JLC Deep Sea

This varies...a lot But right now my long term goal is either day-dates. Both amazing.

Right now ALS has the edge, but tomorrow it is probably VC again. Pics off the internet

Every time I strap on my dad's TAG Heuer S/EL, it makes me excited and proud. It feels good to wear his watch, that he does not wear anymore!

Cool Adam, it's great to see your Dad is letting borrow such a nice watch.

All three great choices Ken. I know would have a tough time picking just one from that group as well.

What about the one you don't have Ken? I would love to know what your looking at for your next one.

Thanks Dan! Really not looking for next now--quite happy with the ones I own. It is hard to find time to wear them all and not sure I need another watch vying for wrist time if you know what I mean.

this baby right here. It is different, unique and apparently not too many people want to buy it because they don't want to pay 4 grands for a Seiko

I have heard nothing but good if not great things about the Grand Seiko. Most people who really now what they are have nothing but good things to say about them.

Both very beatiful Carl.

Patek really does great looking moonphases, however if I get a bullseye at least for now it would have to be a chronograph. There's something about the way they execute their chronographs.

Boy do I agree with you Dan! If it had to be a chronograph I'd think about this one...

Although it seems like this one looks nicer to me...

In all honesty I'd love a specific Patek which would be in yellow gold with a chronograph, a moonphase and an annual calendar. Unfortunately it seems like it's only available in older models and they don't have a current model with such specifications (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).

These two and the 5890 would be the three that I would go for. I've seen all three most recently in St Thomas.

Oh the humanity! You have quite some tastes Dan!

Still, I'd feel bad to buy a Patek (or a few) without at least a model with a moonphase indicator...you know me!
