First purchase

Hi, this is my first Rolex purchase. I've been looking for about a month now for an Explorer II in white, something 2002+.

I run into this price difference frequently.

$3900 for F serial
http://www.ebay.com/itm/280842100060...84.m1423.l2649
more pics on their website
http://zsenterprise.com/prod/FDE42C9...Document&cat=0

$4750 (neg) for Z serial
http://www.ebay.com/itm/360446516463...84.m1423.l2649

I haven't seen any feedback here on ZS Enterprise so I'm not incredibly confident about that. I did see that Watch Chest has received favorable comments.

Any advice on whether it's worth it to stretch for the Z serial at that price? or keep looking?

Thanks!

I suggest staying away from ebay for your 1st Rolex purchase. The trusted sellers around here (check out the Who's Who section) will most likely get you a better deal than on ebay and you'll have confidence knowing that you purchased the real thing. Good luck with your continued search!

Please don't do your 1st purchase through E-bay, you'll get ^&%#$ if your not very careful..........

Here, one of our best sellers, you'll have no issues or hassles...

Some on the sellers here also sell in eBay. If you buy from eBay I'd only buy from some of the sellers. There are some very good sellers on eBay. You have to be careful. As stated above for your first Rolex eBay is a bad idea. If you know all the ends and outs of the brand you still must be very careful.

Thanks for the replies. eBay was definitely making me nervous and that's not a good thing for this purchase.

eBay does work and I understand it works rather well for some, however no reason to be nervous when buying something like this.

Buy the Seller.

I agree with the more seasoned forumites sincerely: "buy the seller, not the watch." There are so many ways that one's money can be taken on eBay, it's enough to make you cry. Once in a while, you can even find something decent at an NAWCC event (or is this taboo to mention?).
