I enquired about a similar watch this seller had. He couldn't give me the serial number - he didn't know how to take the (leather) strap off, and 'his watchmaker' wasn't around for a few days... Went quite after that...

I passed.

The watch is probably genuine but the dial has been redone.

Oh, don't get me wrong - if he'd come back to me with an answer I may well have gone for it. Descriptions seem very honest - some state refinished dial, replacement crystal etc.

My comment was really meant as a criticism of his professionalism / service...

Something somewhere gave me the impression that they were based in India, but with an office in London. Can't find what it was now though...

Did you go for it?

No you were right they supplied serial, but took him 4 times to email etc before i got it , didnt know about the watch i wanted almost had to tell him about the watch, could of been 100 pounds and legit and just because the guy hadnt a clue i didnt want it.
