Firefox 12.0
Hey all
Do any members have a problem starting new threads, replying to posts, et cetera, using Firefox 12.0? I simply cannot type in the reply box. Nothing appears. I do use Adblock Plus and NoScript, however, both Add-ons have been set to 'allow' www.rolexforums.com and I do not have any issues with other sites I visit. Am I missing something so simple??? Also, every time I logon, whethre I'm using Firefox 12.0, or IE9, I receive the following 'error message' and have to navigate to www.rolexforums.com manually: - Invalid Redirect URL (http://rolexforums.com/) TIA -=Jazz=- PS I used IE9 to post this new thread.

I've been running 12 since it was released without any problems.
I just looked at your link. You need to change your bookmark to https://www.rolexforums.com That should do it.

Thanks for your advice, Grady, however, still a no-go, I'm afraid.
Any more suggestions would be appreciated.

Using 12.0 - no problems.
Maybe dump that bookmark? Reenter a new one and try again.

I accidentally got shifted over to the old URL just little while ago by clicking onto an old link and had the same problem you've described and also back when I updated to FF 11, I had that problem.
So, if you're positive that your bookmark is correct, then you may have another problem, but ever since the change was made, this has been a very common occurrence.

I've had a couple of Firefox upgrades do horrible things. Most obnoxious bug was the address bar failing, so you could open links from within a page, but couldn't open anything new from the address bar. I think they occasionally slightly corrupt on upgrade and I've had it happen on both Window and OSX.
I reinstalled Firefox from scratch and then copied my profile stuff across to the new install and it fixed all the wigginess. Try all other suggestions first and use the reinstall as a last resort. |
