Icon20 Hi to everyone and a question about flipping a TT Datejust 116233

Hi everyone:

I have been reding this forum for a few weeks and getting a lot of great information. I just won a TT Jubilee Datejust with Champaign Diamond Dial - 116233 in a contest at work. I have a SS GMT Red/Black and would like to flip the TT Datejust for a new SS GMT Ceramic 116710. I know the TT Datejust market is soft in the US. How much can I get if I sell it (eBay) or trade it in? Thanks in advance.

Welcome. Someone more knowledgable than me will be along shortly to offer advice. Do you have any pics?

MSRP is $9525 US but I am hearing about 1/2 on trade-in to AD.

It's the diamond dial that puts that TT DJ up at 9525, the standard TT DJ is ~8000. Still, it is like new in the box, so a Dealer will not take a big knock on selling it as pre-owned.

I'll bet a smart Dealer will trade you straight across for a TT GMT II, assuming they would sell it at a discount, or for very little cash. I don't think they are selling for a premium anywhere..so the MSRP is 8925.

If the deal looks good to you, it is....
