I'm Back and loving it

Back in October the clasp my only Rolex (GMT 2C) broke and I put it in the safe as I couldn’t really afford a service and repair.

On Saturday I took it into my local AD and not only did he fix it for free but he said it was a little early for a service so it cost nothing. I couldn’t help but kick myself for not doing it sooner.

Anyway since Monday I have not only rediscovered my love for this watch but for TRF. I have been on every day this week and I’m loving it.

Just wanted to say hello and how pleased I am to be back on this forum

How did it break? From what I can tell the upgraded clasps are pretty solid!

Welcome back. But, just because you're not wearing a Rolex doesn't mean you cannot visit. Unless it would be cruel and inhumane punishment to you.

Thanks buddy. But it is too cruel! This forum turns me into a fat kid in a sweet/candy shop dribbling at the mouth!

I wake up everyday and can't wait TO put my GMTIIC on. If it broke, I could get some satisfaction wearing my TT SUB WITH SLATE SERTI DIAL. But I would miss my IIC big time.
