I'd just sink my head in that and eat it all! It looks delicious!

Nope, sorry, Gumbo has a Roux, but I could tell you how to do it. That takes an extra 30 min to make a proper roux and a gumbo, though I can do gumbo without.....but Shrimp and Corn SOup is a staple here just like gumbo, cabbage rolls and jambayala... I have recipes for all....if you need any let me know.
This is 3 packs frozen corn, or frozen southwestern corn, a couple cans of tomato sauce, a can of tomato soup or bisque, a can of rotel, a couple containers of chicken stock, some sausage, cut up and browned off in a pan, and 2 pounds of shrimp (cleaned), salt, pepper, chicken bullion cubes for flavor and set in medum until cooked...

What kind of sausage do you use? Would andouille be best?
Funny - we had grilled sausage just this evening - made fresh and smoked by our neighborhood butcher. He makes an andouille, but I've never tried it as I love the kielbasa. |
